1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
A Liusie General Trading LLC (“ALGT”, “we”, “us”) operates from Plot C22, International Media Production Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. These terms cover two services:
- ELC Shift — our internal workplace app for store teams and managers (clocking in and out, rotas, store checklists, team messaging, and related tools).
- Our customer feedback site (elctoysfeedback.com) — where customers can leave feedback about a store visit and, if they choose, enter our monthly prize draw.
By using either service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. How we handle personal data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy — these terms do not change it.
2. Terms for staff using ELC Shift
2.1 Who may use it
Shift is an internal tool for current ALGT employees and authorised head-office users only. Access is provided for work purposes and ends when your employment or engagement ends.
2.2 Your account and PIN
- Your PIN and any password are personal to you. Do not share them, and do not clock in or out for anyone else, or ask anyone to do it for you.
- Tell your manager immediately if you think someone else knows your PIN — it can be reset straight away.
2.3 Accurate records
Shift records clock-ins, clock-outs, breaks and rotas that feed payroll. Enter honest, accurate information. Deliberately falsifying time records is a disciplinary matter under your employment terms — these terms do not create new penalties; they point at the ones that already exist.
2.4 Acceptable use of messaging and content tools
- Chat, news, photos and email inside Shift are workplace channels. Use them as you would any professional workplace communication — no abusive, discriminatory or inappropriate content.
- As the app itself states, store channels are visible to Head Office. Do not use Shift channels for private personal conversations.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to share (someone else’s photos, copyrighted material, customer personal data beyond what your role requires).
2.5 What we provide (and do not promise)
We work hard to keep Shift available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. Occasional downtime, maintenance and bugs happen. If the app is unavailable, follow your store’s manual procedures (paper clock records) — pay is never forfeited because the app was down; records are reconciled afterwards.
3. Terms for customers using the feedback site
3.1 Feedback submissions
- Please keep feedback truthful and based on your genuine experience.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or that includes another person’s personal information.
- We may review, moderate, or remove submissions that break these rules, and we may use anonymised feedback to improve our stores and service.
3.2 The monthly prize draw
- Entry is optional and free: ticking the opt-in box when leaving feedback enters that month’s draw.
- One winner is selected at random each month from valid opt-in entries and contacted using the details provided. The advertised prize (currently AED 500) is as stated on the feedback site at the time of entry.
- ALGT employees and their immediate families are not eligible. We may withhold a prize where an entry breaks these terms or appears fraudulent. Where local law requires permits or additional conditions for prize promotions, the draw operates subject to those requirements.
4. Your data
Everything about how we collect, use and protect personal data — staff and customer — lives in our Privacy Policy. In short: staff data in Shift is used to run stores and pay people correctly; customer feedback data is used to follow up on your experience and, if you opted in, to run the prize draw.
5. Our content and yours
The apps, their design, and our brand materials belong to ALGT or our licensors. Content you submit (feedback, photos in Shift) remains yours, but you give us permission to use it for the purpose it was submitted for — running the business, improving service, and resolving issues.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under UAE, Qatari, or other applicable law that cannot be excluded by agreement — including employment rights, which are governed by your employment contract and local labour law, not by this page. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of, or inability to use, these services.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date and version at the top of this page always show the current edition; meaningful changes will be flagged in the app or on the feedback site.
8. Contact and governing law
Questions about these terms: contact Head Office through your manager (staff) or via the feedback site (customers). These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates; for our Qatar stores, mandatory local law applies to activities there.
